6 1/2 pound bone in turkey breast - or 2 2-3 pounds each boneless turkey breasts
1 med onion chopped
1 med celery stock chopped
1 bay leaf
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 can chicken broth
Place thawed turkey in slow cooker, sprinkle onion, celery and bay leaf on and around turkey. Pour in the chicken broth. Sprinkle salt and pepper on top of turkey. Cover and cook on low for approx 8 hours or until juice from turkey is clear.
Serve. Save 4 cups of chopped turkey meat for the next two upcoming recipes.
