Prep time - 25 min
6oz (4 cups) uncooked egg noodles
1 Tbsp butter
3 boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into thin strips
3/4 cups chopped celery
1 med onion chopped (1/2 cup)
1 can cream of chicken or cream of chicken with herb soup
1/2 cup chicken broth
3/4 cup frozen peas
Cook noodles according to package - drain and set aside. While noodles are cooking, melt butter over med heat. Add chicken, cook about 5 min or until chicken is no longer pink. Add celery and onion, cook an additional 5 min or until onion is tender. Stir in soup, broth and peas. Bring to a boil, reduce heat. Cover and simmer about 10 min. Add cooked noodles, toss to mix well. Cook until heated through.
** when I made this it was a little soupy - I did add more broth than it called for - but I think it still would have been a little soup like. We ate it out of bowls - everyone enjoyed it.
