1 14 oz bag frozen peas - thawed (can use broccoli if you prefer)
2 cups diced, cooked turkey or chicken (this is a great meal to have with leftover turkey or chicken. Just chop the meat and keep it in the fridge or freezer until you are ready to make this meal - a great time saver)
1 can cream of chicken soup (or cream of chicken with herbs)
1/2 cup mayo
1/2 cup milk
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (4 oz)
1 cup french friend onions - crushed
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spray an 8 by 8 glass baking dish (or a dish approx that size).
Place the chicken and peas in the baking dish. In a med bowl mix soup, mayonnaise and milk; stir in cheese. Pour and spread over the chicken and peas. Cover baking dish with foil.
Bake for 30 min. Sprinkle with onions. Bake uncovered for 20-25 min longer or until bubbly. Serves 4 1 cup servings. ** This dish can easily be doubled.
